A browser can't check these, so they aren't on the drawings

  • Battery wear. Browsers report charge level at most, not wear.
  • Drive health. A page can see its own storage allowance. We found no browser feature for drive health.
  • Heat and fans. We found no browser feature for temperature or fan speed. Some browsers offer a rough pressure level at most.
  • Fn and system keys. Fn is often handled in hardware, and a system can keep its own shortcuts, so a page may never see them.
  • Physical damage. Cracks, dents and water damage need your eyes.

How the report works

Each test on DeviceJig ends in a plain result. This page gathers those results, dated, on the drawing of each device. There is no overall score, because how much a sticky click matters against a dead pixel depends on you.

  • Passed: the test finished and its own limits were met.
  • Problem seen: the test found something. It suggests a fault and doesn't prove one.
  • Not tested: you skipped it, it didn't finish, or a warning means it needs running again.
  • Browser can't check: this browser can't give a fair reading.

A value a seller claimed appears only if you enter it, and it is labelled as yours. Results stay in this browser unless you press a share button. See the privacy page.
